English women spend 294 minutes a day, almost five hours in unpaid activities such as cooking, housecleaning and shopping. Nearly three times more than the 107 minutes spent by men on these tasks.
This is one of the conclusions reached by the study ' The company out' of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. According to the analysis, half the gap between men and women in domestic work is 2 hours and 28 minutes in the OECD, compared to three hours and seven minutes from Spain.
Thus, unpaid work in Spain accounts for 41% of GDP, the fifth highest proportion after Japan (42%), New Zealand (43%), Australia (46%) and Portugal (53% .)
