Competitors:
may participate in this Contest any person residing Canary Islands, whatever their age, to present original texts, unpublished and written in English.
Topic:
The work will focus on the social situation of the peoples of the world.
Conditions for submission and approval of the accounts:
Persons wishing to apply for forwarded Awards the original, duplicate, to the post number 275 of the Post Office La Laguna, making specific mention on the outside of the Competition "Stories with People" and the category to which they concur, for which use the expressions: "Category A, Category B or Category C".
is mandatory to submit two copies on paper and a copy in digital form, in both cases performed with a word processor compatible with Word. The cover will contain the title of the story, the pseudonym of the author, the category and specifically stated that attends to the Competition "Stories with Peoples. " You should not include the name, or any other data that identifies the person who is competing, except those listed above. If you violate this rule, you may not participate in the competition, being eliminated.
The extent of the works can not exceed 5 pages in A4 size, font Verdana, the 1st point size, margins 2.5 cm. on each side, single-spaced. The envelope
main story addition should be included in another sealed envelope, outside of which contain only the pen that uses the / the author and the category to which he concurs, copy of ID's / contestant or other document similar validity by stating that the identity of the applicant as well as a folio in giving the following information: ▪

Deadline for Submission of works to the contest:
original Admission will close on October 16, 2009. However, those who are sent by mail and received after that date will be accepted if clear to the delivery to the Post Office was within the deadline. The above is conditioned to be received in a period that does not alter the normal development of the competition.
Authorship, originality and dissemination of works:
The presentation of a story to imply competition:
1 st) full and unconditional acceptance of these terms by the person opting for the award.

3 º) The guarantee by the author or author of authorship and originality of the work, and that it is not a copy or modification of all or part of any other, not assuming this organization any liability to third parties if they fail to comply this end.

If it were necessary to meet any member of the jury, will be proposed to incorporate the same to another person of recognized standing in the cultural field. In any case, ensure that the number of jury members is odd and not less than seven people.
act as Secretary of the Jury, with voice but without vote, a collaborator of the Committee of Solidarity Canario Peoples, to be appointed before the end of the delivery of work.
The Jury's decision is final and made public on November 27, 2009.
Categories and Prizes:
be awarded three prizes for three categories defined according to age of the / participants:
A) Under 12 years: To be included in this category the participants born / as in 1998 or later.
B) From 12 to 18: Include in this category the participants born between 1992 and 1997.
C) 18 years and over: To be included in this category the participants born in 1991 or earlier. There will be a single person
winner for each category. The prizes are as follows:
For All Classes: Publication of winning story in a collective edition.
Category A: A lot of books and educational games.
Category B: A set of books and games.
Category C: A trip to the Sahrawi camps in Tindouf, including visits in the program coincides with the Easter holidays, organized annually by the Association of Friends of the Sahara Canaria (ACAPS).
The authors of the stories people finalists down to a minimum of two contestants per category will be awarded a lot of material solidarity. It further appreciates the ability to edit the final story in the publication, with the winning works.
Acceptance of conditions:
